- Stage-6:Watering and irrigation Monitoring
- 6.1 At the demonstration Site provision for irrigation is to be taken care of by the farmer.
- Proper bunds will be made around the tree so that water wastage is reduced.
- The plants will be irrigated weekly in the initial phase (1-2 Years) and after that irrigation intervals are reduced as the plant matures.
- Regular plant watering arrangements should be worked out. Keep the soil moist, but not waterlogged.
- The plants should be watered when the soil below the surface of the mulch becomes dry.
